For daily porcelain cleaning, simply use soap and warm water with a rag. For deeper cleaning, use The Stone Shop cleaner to prolong the life of the product and sealers used during installation.

Visit The Stone Shop to purchase your stone cleaner.

Use & Maintenance:

Quartz does not require sealing or frequent professional cleaning, but caution should be used when using your stone product.

Avoid direct extreme heat:

Quartz is generally heat-resistant, but extreme heat can harm the surface. Use heat pads under pots to protect your quartz surface.

Refrain from using harsh chemicals:

Abrasive cleaners are not necessary and can harm quartz surfaces. Use The Stone Shop cleaner for a safer, deeper clean.

Porcelain Care & Maintenance

Use & Maintenance:

Granite should be professionally cleaned and sealed every 3-5 years to protect the finish of the stone. Submit a maintenance request.

Marble Care & Maintenance

Marble is a natural stone, the hardest calcium carbonate based stone. However, marble is softer and more sensitive to acids than granite or manufactured stones because of its porous qualities. Thus, extra care is needed to maintain your marble surface.

Cleaning your Marble:

For daily cleaning, simply use soap and warm water with a soft rag. For deeper cleaning, use The Stone Shop cleaner to prolong the life of the product and sealers used during installation. Professional cleaning and sealing is highly recommended. Visit The Stone Shop to purchase your stone cleaner.

Avoid acid and harsh chemicals

Acid can etch marble, so do not use any acid based or hard chemicals on your stone.

Use & Maintenance:

Marble should be professionally cleaned and sealed to protect the finish of the stone. Submit a maintenance request to protect your marble surface.

Use caution to prevent etching

Professional cleaning and sealing can prevent staining, but does not protect against etching (scratching). To prevent wear over time, steel and other hard materials should not come into contact with your marble surface.
