Soapstone is an exceptional and impenetrable material that has a natural matte finish and almost imperceptible texture. Its flawless appearance is breathtaking, yet completely understated and particularly beautiful in modern spaces. Compared to other natural stone materials, soapstone is low maintenance, highly stain resistant, and can withstand high heat levels. However, soapstone is noted for being a softer mineral and thus can scratch when not used properly. Because soapstone is a naturally made material, it can only be found in darker shades of gray and black.
